LHU donated more than VND 100 million to people in the central region

On December 19, LHU in association with Dong Nai Charity Association and Lac Hong Bilingual School visited and presented 300 gifts to people affected by Typhoon Noru which happened in October in Quang Tri province. The delegation included Ms. Do Thi Lan Dai - Chairwoman, University Council; Mr. Vu Van Tuan - Vice Head of Student Affairs Office; Mr. Nguyen Phu Cuong - Chairman of the Provincial Charity Association, Ms. Le Vu Lien Thanh - Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Charity Association and some teachers of Lac Hong Bilingual School.

Particularly, the delegation visited and offered 300 gifts to residents in Hai Phong commune, Hai Lang district and Vinh Ha commune, Vinh Linh district, Quang Tri province. Each gift included VND 500,000 in cash, 10 kg of rice and a box of instant noodles.

The total gifts are worth VND 216 million including VND 108 million donated by LHU lecturers and students in November and December.
