Following the success of the 219th AUN-QA assessment in 2021, LHU has prepared and been ready for the 320th assessment under AUN-QA which is going to be held from the 7th to 9th of March, 2023 for 4 training programs including Japanese Studies (Faculty of Oriental Studies), Construction Engineering Technology (Faculty of Civil Engineering), Finance - Banking (Faculty of Finance - Accounting), Automation and Control Engineering Technology (Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics).
LHU ready for the opening session of the 320th on-site visit in the AUN-QA programme assessment on March 7 at the second campus
The assessment team includes 10 AUN assessors from Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eric Wibisono - University of Surabaya - Lead assessor.

According to the schedules, the opening ceremony will take place at 8:00 a.m on March 7, 2023 at Hall A.301, campus 1. After the opening session, the assessment team will work with the Faculty Management Board, SAR teams, academic staff, support staff, students, alumni, employers,... of the 4 programs: Japanese Studies, Construction Engineering Technology, Finance - Banking, Automation and Control Engineering Technology. This external assessment is an opportunity for LHU to receive valuable comments from AUN assessors, which helps the University be aware of their strengths, weaknesses, then have further improvements for the four programs.
LHU has made every effort to improve the quality of training. In 2016, LHU began to conduct an external assessment in accordance with AUN-QA standards. Accordingly, the University had 2 first training programs (Information Engineering Technology and Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology) accredited for the AUN-QA in 2019 and recognized by AUN on June 20, 2020.
In 2021, the University continued to implement an external assessment under the AUN-QA standards for 4 more training programs (Pharmacist, Accounting, English Language and Business Administration). LHU also received the Certificate of Quality Accreditation according to the AUN-QA standards for the 6 above-mentioned training programs on October 19, 2022.
Previously, in 2021 LHU conducted the external remote/online assessment for its study programs due to the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic
In November, 2022, LHU completed its external assessment in accordance with ABET standards for the 2 training programs: Information Engineering Technology and Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology.
For University Rankings, LHU ranked 27th in 2021 and 24th in 2022 in WURI rankings. It continues to carry out activities to participate in THE Impact Rankings in the 2022-2023 academic year.
