Faculty of IT Student Chapter Honored with Certificate of Merit from the City Student Association at the 2025–2026 Academic Year Review Conference

On the morning of July 29, 2026, Dong Nai University hosted the 2025–2026 Academic Year Review Conference on Student Association Affairs and Youth Movements. The conference served as a key platform to comprehensively evaluate past achievements and establish strategic orientations and key missions for the upcoming term. During the event, the Student Chapter of the Faculty of Information Technology (LHU IT Student Chapter) at Lac Hong University was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the City Vietnamese Student Association for its outstanding achievements throughout the past academic year.

Recognition of Continuous Dedication and Effort

The 2025–2026 academic year marked significant milestones for the youth of the Faculty of Information Technology, highlighted by a series of dynamic, creative, and practical initiatives. Under the dedicated leadership of the Party Committee, the University Board of Rectors, and the University Youth Union – Student Association Standing Committee, combined with the united efforts of all members and students, the IT Student Chapter successfully fulfilled its designated goals.

The Certificate of Merit presented by the City Vietnamese Student Association is well-deserved recognition of the collective contributions of the IT Faculty in organizing, supporting, and elevating student movements across the locality.

Standout Highlights of the 2025–2026 Academic Year

Throughout the past year, the IT Student Chapter effectively implemented several core programs, providing a comprehensive training and development environment for students:

• - The "5-Good Student" Movement (Sinh viên 5 tốt): The chapter actively promoted, guided, and assisted students in meeting the core criteria of Good Ethics, Good Academic Performance, Good Physical Fitness, Good Volunteering, and Good Integration, resulting in an increased number of students earning the "5-Good Student" title at various levels.

• - Academic and Scientific Research Activities: Successfully organized a series of coding competitions, technology seminars, and specialized academic clubs, empowering students to reinforce practical knowledge and stay aligned with emerging tech trends.

• - Community Volunteering: The faculty's volunteer force served as a core pillar in major community outreach campaigns, including the Green Summer Volunteer Campaign (Mùa hè xanh), Exam Support Drive (Tiếp sức mùa thi), and initiatives applying digital technology to assist local community digital transformation efforts.

• - Skills Development and Global Integration: Regularly held corporate networking seminars, soft skills training sessions, cultural exchanges, and sports events, enhancing students' adaptability and integration readiness in the digital era.

• 

  Moving Confidently into the New Academic Year

This recognition from the City Student Association serves not only as a proud milestone for the Chapter Executive Committee but also as strong motivation for all students across the Faculty of Information Technology at Lac Hong University.

Speaking after receiving the award, a representative of the IT Student Chapter shared: "Today's achievement is the collective result of every student within the Faculty of IT. It will serve as a solid foundation for our chapter to continue innovating program activities, enhancing the quality of student movements, and supporting students on their journeys of self-discovery and career development."
