The Faculty of Postgraduate Studies Aims Toward AUN-QA Quality Assurance Program

On the morning of June 10, 2024, at Room A301, Campus 1 of Lac Hong University, the Opening Session for the Institutional Quality Assessment according to the AUN-QA 3.0 standards took place.

Lac Hong University (LHU) is proud to be the first university in Vietnam to participate in institutional-level quality assessment based on the AUN-QA Version 3.0 framework. The AUN-QA 3.0 framework consists of 15 criteria and 60 sub-criteria, focusing on three main areas: quality assurance in strategic management, quality assurance in system operations, and quality assurance in core functions.

LHU not only ensures quality but also aims for sustainable development. In addition, participating in the institutional-level quality assessment under the AUN-QA 3.0 framework offers numerous practical benefits for both learners and enterprises.

A series of structured interviews were conducted for various groups, with the participation of university leadership, faculty members, QA staff, postgraduate students, and doctoral candidates from the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies. Throughout the assessment process, one of the university’s most notable strengths was its comprehensive IT system, especially learning applications accessible via the platforms Me.lhu.edu.vn and Learn.lhu.edu.vn.

After four working days, the AUN-QA expert panel brought meaningful value through the quality assurance program.

LHU was ranked 401–600 globally in the category of GOOD HEALTH AND WELLBEING by the THE Impact Rankings (Times Higher Education).

LHU is also proud to be one of only 13 Vietnamese universities listed in the global university rankings.
