Beyond acquiring specialized academic knowledge, Multimedia Communications students at Lac Hong University benefit from dedicated practice equipment and opportunities to attend professional workshops, enhancing their hands-on experience and career-ready skills throughout their studies.

Nearly 30 Genuine Canon Cameras Dedicated to Learning and Practical Training

Given the practical nature of Multimedia Communications, direct hands-on training with professional equipment plays an essential role in skill development.

Students in the Faculty of Information Technology at Lac Hong University are equipped with nearly 30 genuine Canon cameras, alongside a dedicated film set and studio. This enables them to proactively practice photography, cinematography, video production, and content creation.

This practical setup allows students to move beyond standard classroom theory and engage in experiential learning, becoming familiar with industry-standard workflows and equipment found in professional environments.

Participating in Professional Workshops to Expand Learning Beyond the Classroom

In addition to practical on-campus facilities, the university regularly creates opportunities for students to participate in specialized programs and professional workshops.

Notably, students attended the CANON EXCLUSIVE WORKSHOP: "From Ground Zero to Production-Ready Footage." During the workshop, students directly explored and practiced essential technical skills, including configuring Canon cameras with C-Log3, managing exposure using Histograms and False Color, mitigating lighting flicker, setting up audio, and executing filming and post-production workflows in DaVinci Resolve.

These hands-on sessions help students gain a clearer understanding of complete video production pipelines while staying updated with contemporary techniques and industry best practices.
