Master's Thesis Defense in Banking and Finance

On March 1, 2025, at the main campus of Lac Hong University (LHU), six students from the Master's program in Banking and Finance successfully presented and defended their master's theses. The thesis defense was conducted in a formal, professional atmosphere.

The evaluation committee, comprising highly respected academics, included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Dinh Hac (University of Banking, Ho Chi Minh City), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Man (Binh Duong University), Dr. Phan Thanh Tam (Lac Hong University), Dr. Lu Phi Nga (Lac Hong University), Dr. Phan Thanh Phuoc (Lac Hong University), and several other distinguished experts.

The master's theses presented were:

1. Factors influencing debt repayment ability among poor households borrowing from the Social Policy Bank, Long Khanh City, Dong Nai Province - Tran Minh Duc.
2. Measuring customer satisfaction with savings deposit services at Vietcombank - Dong Nai Branch - Nguyen Thi Thanh Van.
3. Factors affecting individual customers’ loan decisions at Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) - Dong Nai Branch - Hoang Thi Hoa.
4. Measurement of factors influencing debt repayment capacity of poor households borrowing from the Social Policy Bank in Long Khanh City, Dong Nai Province - Tran Minh Duc.
5. Factors affecting loan decisions of individual customers at Vietcombank - Dong Nai Branch - Tran Minh Duc.
6. Measuring customer satisfaction on individual customer services at Vietcombank - Dong Nai Branch - Nguyen Thi Thanh Van.

   The council highly appreciated the creativity, thorough preparation, and practical applicability of the theses. The research outcomes provided significant insights, contributing effectively to risk management, service quality improvement, customer experience enhancement, and sustainable banking practices.
